YALEA RENEWS ITS SUPPORT FOR THE KNOW YOUR LEMONS FOUNDATION

On the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the De Rigo Group’s eyewear brand renews its commitment to women’s health and awareness

On the occasion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Yalea, a house brand of the De Rigo Group, renews its support for the Know Your Lemons Foundation, an international organization committed to promoting breast health and encouraging early detection through clear, accessible and inclusive education.

Founded in 2014 by Dr. Corrine Ellsworth-Beaumont following the personal loss of her mother to breast cancer, the Foundation is dedicated to helping women around the world become more aware of their health by enabling them to recognize and report potential symptoms of the disease at an early stage. This goal is pursued through a creative and engaging approach designed to make information easier to understand and share, overcoming barriers related to fear, stigma and misinformation.

This year once again, Yalea supports the Foundation through a donation dedicated to its educational and awareness initiatives focused on early detection. Representing the initiative are two new eyewear styles, a sunglass and an optical frame, characterized by sophisticated shades of pink. The sunglass style is interpreted through a soft and harmonious silhouette, enhanced by an elegant powder-pink lamination on Havana acetate, the three-dimensional Yalea monogram and brown gradient lenses. The optical frame, on the other hand, stands out for its geometric shape enhanced by transparent effects in powder-pink and brown hues. Both styles will feature the Pink Ribbon on the temple, the symbol of breast cancer awareness and prevention.

The collaboration with Know Your Lemons is part of Yalea’s long-standing commitment to supporting women’s empowerment. The brand also supports Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) through the “Mothers Beyond Borders” project, dedicated to the organization’s maternal and child health hospital in Khost, Afghanistan, which provides care to women throughout pregnancy and helps support the birth of more than 25,000 babies every year.

With this initiative, Yalea once again chooses to look beyond the surface, encouraging awareness and self-care.
